Treasure Hunt - Sue Arengo - Oxford University Press 1998

The book talks about a group of people who went camping in a place called Wesh Summer Camp.

There was a house where one member of group called Becky , finded a map . The map indicated two gold mines. In the next day , Becky and Paul went for a walk and took with their the map . Before they founnd the mine, they had to found red flags. They were finding the flags and each had an orientation to find the next one. They found a lot , so they sit down to rest a little and have a snack. It started to rain , so they came in a cave. Paul sit down in a rock and ate his sandwich while Becky went for have a look . Becky didn't came back then Paul came to her. They fell in a hole and couldn't come back, they pass through some places until they found a old mine. Beck saw a clarity up and starts to dig , the found a medium piece of gold while they were digging. They left of the old mine and came back to the camping , there they show the gold to their friends. And that's the book's end.

I liked the book but , he's a little bit short . Could be more big, counting more specifically.

LA

My friend and me want to go to LA. But we have to wait our Italian citizenship to be ready.

We don't know exactly when we going to go there , but maybe in 5 years , we have to get money (next year i need to look for a job) , do the passport and principally study. We are going to there by plane. The company is uncertain. The idea is stay in hostels , because is very cheap. We want to stay there average six months or a year, to study, work, and if all goes well we come back to Brazil and some day later come back to stay for a long time.We're looking forward to the trip.

Los Angeles is the entertainment capital of the world .The City also sits squarely at the center of many global enterprises, including the fashion industry, the culinary arts, international trade, science, medicine, technology, and the visual and performing arts. The United States' second largest city, Los Angeles is also one of its most diverse. And every part of town offers plenty of sun, shopping and sightseeing.

This is a photo where I was confirmand my cousin ( his name's Vanglês [o.0]) . This photo was take in November 29th, 2009 in São Cristóvão church my aunt took the photo. On my side there's a man who couldn't stop talk and laugh ( the one with beard) , all the time he was laughing. You can see two grandmothers getting ready for the mass ( the right side of the photo).And the left side ,you can see clearing me. This photo is in my orkut, where many people of school laugh of my face .

Smoke on the water - Deep Purple

The song is famous for having one of the most famous guitars riffs and was played in the rock history and has a story behind it : the song tells a true history that happened on December 4th, 1971, when Deep Purple arrived in Montreux, Switzerland to record an album using a mobile recording studio (rented from the Rolling Stones called "Rolling truck Stones thing" ) at the entertainment complex that was part of the Montreux Casino.

On the eve of the recording session a concert of Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention was made at the theater and the casino during the show, the fire started in the middle of the synthesizer solo of "King Kong" when someone in the audience fired a flare gun at the ceiling, which is mentioned in verse "some stupid with a flare gun".
The fire destroyed the entire casino complex, along with all the equipment of Mothers. The "smoke on the water" that became the title of the song credited to bassist Roger Glover, referring to the smoke coming from the fire, which spread through the lake of Geneva from the burning casino while the band members attended the scene of the hotel, across the lake, where they were staying. The "Funky Claude", according to the letter, "went out and came running” is Claude Nobs, the director of the Montreux Jazz Festival, which helped part of the audience to escape the flames.

Omayra Sanchez was a girl victim of Ruiz's Nevado volcano during a(AN)eruption in Armero, Colombia in 1985. She spent three days in the middle of rubble with her legs trapped between her dead family. When the paramedics cames to the place, they said that would be impossible to remove her from there, because they had to amputate her legs and had no experts on the place. Omayara showed stronger until the last moment of her life.

The photographer Frank Fournier, took a picture of Omayara that runed the world, and had a controversy about the indifference of the Colombian Government with respect to victims of disasters.The photo was published months after the dead of the girl.

Many see this image the beginning of what we now call globalization, because her agony was experienced in real time by television cameras from around the world.

Disaster Travel

I went to Beto Carrero World , two years ago, with the classmates of the school where I used to study .We went by bus to there.
We stayed for two days in a hotel called Ilha da Madeira , we were every time in swimming pool because it rained a lot and we couldn't go out ( just the school director and two mothers went to a night club ).
Because of rain a lot of people died in those days.
We spent a lot of money with lan houses ,we had nothing to do.
In the last day at the hotel we did a party in a bedroom, it was cool , we saw a couple taking a shower in another building, we laughed a lot .
At the Park we played in some toys just because the time doesn't favor. But it was cool too .
We liked the travel , it was nice to travel by bus , many jokes with the teachers and friends.
I only had a problem in those days, I was a little bad too .
